“Allergy testing for horses is not 100% perfect, but it’s a tool in the toolbox. When you’ve tried everything else and your horse is still not quite right, it gives you a starting point, primarily with food. In 90% of allergy tests that I have read from clients, when they eliminate the foods with the highest response on the panel, within days or weeks the horse improves… sometimes within 24 hours.
It’s for the horse that is sound, and has a good appetite, but you can tell is not quite right. You know your horse.”
“[R]ed pandas need to eat 20 to 30 percent of their body weight each day and have been found to eat approximately 20,000 bamboo leaves in a single day! Roots, succulent grasses, fallen fruits, insects & grubs, the occasional bird and small mammal are also within the red panda’s diet.” (from www.redpandanetwork.org)
